The Martyrs Foundation – Dhamar
The Martyrs Foundation for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Families of Martyrs in Dhamar Governorate, in coordination with the Branch of the General Authority for Zakat in the Governorate, has launched this morning, July 29th, Dhul Hijjah 8 1441 AH corresponding to July 29, 2020 AD, the disbursement of holiday sums for children of martyrs to all children under the age of eighteen in the governorate.
At the inauguration, the Acting Governor of Dhamar, the local secretary general of the governorate, Mujahid Shayef Al-Ansi, affirmed that caring for the families of the martyrs is a duty incumbent on the various parties, in appreciation of the sacrifices of the martyrs in defense of the homeland and facing aggression.
He praised the efforts of the Martyrs Foundation and the Zakat Authority in caring for the families of martyrs in general and providing sums of money to the children of martyrs in all directorates on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, stressing that the local authority pays special attention to the families and children of the martyrs despite the scarcity of resources.
While the first undersecretary of the governorate, Fahd Abdul Hamid Al-Marouni, pointed out the importance of concerted efforts by various parties in supporting the Martyrs Foundation to play its role in caring for the families of martyrs on a permanent basis.
