Martyrs Foundation – Sana’a
The Martyrs Foundation for the Care and Rehabilitation of Martyrs’ Families held on Tuesday morning, 6-11-2019, at the martyr Dr. Al-Mortada bin Zaid Al-Mahtoori Hall at Sana’a University a central event on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.
The event was attended by the Secretary of the Capital, Mr. Hamoud Abbad, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Abdullah Al-Naami, the Member of the Shura Council, Dr. Talal Aqlan, the Deputy Minister of Civil Service, Mr. Abdullah Al-Moayyed, the fathers, brothers and families of the martyrs and a number of Sheikhs, dignitaries, notables and students.
The event started with verses from the holy Quran , then the national anthem and an inauguration speech by Mr. Abdulsalam Talbi, the deputy executive director for technical affairs, in which he talked about the importance of reviving the occasion of the birth of the Prophet during this exceptional circumstance experienced by the Yemeni people as they face strong tyranny
.
After that, Mr. Hussein Al-Qadi, the acting executive firector of the Foundation, delivered a welcoming speech in which he expressed his thanks and gratitude to all those present in commemorating this great occasion, pointing to the great joy of the Yemeni people with their participation in the memory of the Prophet’s birthday with all pride and dignity.
He drew attention to the lessons we have learned from the great Prophet Muhammad, peace be pon him and his famaily, which instilled in us the values of loyalty, honesty, sincerity and fortitude.
He called for active participation in the central effectiveness embodied in the principles of Mohammedan values and morals and pride in healthy human self.
For his part, Mr. Abdullah Al-Naimi, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, pointed out in his speech to the danger of the enemies and lurking the sons of the Arab and Islamic nation in their attempt to keep us away from our identity and our faith and nationalism and to obliterate Mohammedan values.
He also referred to the Yemeni position in the Islamic conquests and their great role in spreading Islam, offering sacrifices and historical positions, and exporting heroic epics as a sacrifice for religion and in support of the weak.
In turn, the secretary of the capital, Mr. Hamoud Abbad, stressed the importance of celebrating this occasion because of its great impact.
He pointed out that this year will witness an unprecedented great activity and will send a message to the world that we are a nation committed to its prophet and sources of strength.
During the event, a hymn troupe and a poem by Mr. Hadi Al-Razami expressed the originality and identity of the Yemenis ,the greatness of the occasion and the value of its owner in the hearts of Yemenis and their generations , addressing the importance of adhering to the teachings of the Holy Prophet, which promotes in us values and behaviors and revives the sources of strength facing the enemies and tyrants.
The event also honored the parents and children of the martyrs who died in the prisons of the mercenaries in Marib as a result of torture, as a tribute to them and their place in society for what they have done like other parents and brothers who sacrificed the most precious possessions for freedom and dignity.
