Martyrs Foundation – Sana’a
The Martyrs Foundation in partnership with the General Authority for Zakat in Sana’a in 24 September launched a project to distribute the school bag for 25,000 students from orphans and sons and daughters of of martyrs attending school for the academic year “2019-2020” in various governorates of the Republic in the presence of the Acting Executive Director Mr. Hussein Al-Qadi and Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat ,Shamsan Abu Nashtan
In the inauguration, which was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for the Welfare of the Families of the Martyrs of Duty and the Assistant Undersecretary Mohammed Haidarah ,Radwan Hamiduddin, Deputy Executive Director of the Martyrs Foundation Abdulsalam Talbi, and the Acting Executive Director of the Martyrs Foundation Hussein al-Qadi confirmed that the launch of this project, which targets about 25 thousand students of the various stages of education in more than 17 governorates throughout the Republic of Yemen comes within the educational projects and the interest of the foundation and its keenness that the sons and daughters of martyrs to get their right of education through school bag projects or school seats and free grants in university, technical, higher education and others
Al-Qadi called on the families of the martyrs to push their sons and daughters to school in order to obtain their right in education, stressing that the foundation will stand by them to improve the sons and daughters of the great martyrs in all different fields
The Acting Executive Director of the Martyrs Foundation prasied the efforts of the General Authority for Zakat, stressing that the divinity is making a great effort in many projects implemented by the foundation towards the families of martyrs, and calling on all concerned parties and charity to follow the Zakat Authority as the concern of the families of martyrs is the responsibility of all
He explained that the Martyrs Foundation has distributed since the beginning of the week integrated school bags to the branches of the foundation in the provinces which are 17 branches and began its work to distribute school bags to students of sond and daughters of the martyrs in all provinces
For his part, Chairman of the Authority , Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan, said that the priority of the Authority is to take care of orphans and sons and daughters of martyrs to alleviate their suffering and to fulfill the sacrifices of their fathers who gave their blood and lives cheap for the sake of Allah and the pride of this country
Abu Nushtan pointed out that the General Authority for Zakat has sponsored 16 thousand and 500 school bags within the project which targets more than 25 thousand students of the martyrs’ sons and daughters
The Chairman of the Authority announced that this project is the beginning of many projects in the next phase, especially the orphans and the sons of the martyrs adopted by the General Authority for Zakat, which will be a support and aid to the institutions of martyrs and orphans in all projects, since the Zakat Authority was found to ensure the orphan and care for the poor and shelter the poor
He also praised the efforts and role of the Martyrs Foundation, which takes care of the sons and dughters of the martyrs and their families, and the Orphan Development Foundation in the care of orphans through various development projects
The Orphan Development Foundation speech delivered by Secretary General Ahmed Al-Dourani stressed the role of the foundation in the service and rehabilitation of orphans as well as the sons and daughters of martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of Allah and in defense of this homeland, in which we enjoy safe due to their sacrifices
He pointed out that the Orphan Foundation will work in partnership with the General Authority for Zakat and the Martyrs Foundation to take care of orphans and the sons and daughters of the martyrs and take full care of them
“We promise you that we will be well-thought and make our efforts to be at the forefront of today’s generations and future pioneers by continuing in education project,” he said
At the end of the inauguration event, the leadership of the Martyrs Foundation and Zakat Authority distributed school bags to more than 100 male and female students
This school bag contains all the school supplies of notebooks, pens and others
