Martyrs Foundation – Sana’a
Martyrs Foundation for the Welfare and Rehabilitation of Martyrs’ Families inaugurated in Sana’a, Saturday morning, 11 Muharram 1439 AH, the project of distributing the school bag with a celebration at Al-Shawkani Institute in Mo’in
The ceremony was started with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech on behalf of the Foundation by Mr. Ismail Abdullah Al Khashab, Deputy Director of the Foundation, whereas he welcomed the attendees, stressing that the Foundation strives to provide what it can in the service of the families of the martyrs who sacrificed the most expensive possessions
Al-Khashib added that the school bag project is one of the educational projects targeting the families of the martyrs because the educational field is of great importance in rehabilitating the family and activating it in its society in the required manner, and qualifies the families of the martyrs to work in different fields, calling on everyone to take responsibility towards these families and meet charity
The children of martyrs’ speech was delivered by the student: Essam al-Koum who thanked the Martyrs foundation and all the supporters, confirming that the children of the martyrs will continue in the path of their fathers, and that they will continue their education to have an important role in this community in different areas
He also delivered the speech of the martyrs’ parents, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Kibsi, in which he called on the official authorities to take care of the families of the martyrs in various fields, praising the foundation’s work to serve the families of the martyrs,especially the educational interest
For his part, Mr. Khalid Al-Madani, Supervisor of the Secretariat of the capital ,praised the role of the Foundation in the service of the families of martyrs, stressing that attention to the martyrs is the responsibility of all and not a specific foundation
Al-Madani explained that all that is provided to the families of the martyrs is nothing in the face of what the great families gave that provided the most expensive possessions. He called on the official authorities to play their role towards the families of the martyrs
He also thanked the private schools of the capital Sana’a, which teach a large number of martyrs’ children in free seats, and called on the rest of the schools to do so
Mr. Al-Bishri delivered a speech in which he stressed the interest of the Ministry of Education in the families of the martyrs as the segment that presented the most precious possessions for Allah’s and homeland’s sake, calling on all teacher to take care of the martyrs’ families and the educational process in full
In addition, the event included many anecdotal and poetic paragraphs for a group of children of martyrs,which summed up the role of the martyrs and how the community think of them
At the end of the event, which included a number of paragraphs, Mr. Khalid Al-Madani ,Mr. Sami, Mr. Ali Al-Saqqaf, , Ibrahim Al-Kubsi and a number of personalities distributed school bags to the children of martyrs who attended the event from various directorates of the Secretariat,while Distribution of the rest of the bags which amounted to 1200 school bags should be distrubated during the coming days through delegates in the directorates of the Secretaria
